Learning in Freedom

Welcome to Learning in Freedom, a blog all about the learning adventures (and mishaps) of the Allen family. My four children are unschooled, following their interests and passions every day and living the lives of their choosing. The purpose of this blog is to share our every day lives (and my not-so-humble opinons) with anyone interested in stopping by. We hope this will give a glimpse of how natural learning unfolds from day to day......

Ah geez...

A tornado hit Pensacola today, some of the damage right near our old house. Looks like the mall I used to work at was hit, but we don't know how bad. Called LeaAnn after we figured out what happened. All is well at their house. Brandon (who has been visiting since last week) is relieved of course. Gawd, it makes me remember all the stress of hurricane season. I'm so over it, though disasters can happen anywhere. I wish they could send some of that abundance of water this way.

Wishing all our friends in P'cola well. Hope you're safe and your possessions unharmed. Wish things weren't so volatile down there weather-wise....

Ack, the catastrophes! It's good that your friend is okay, and that like, you don't live there anymore and stuff.

So cool that you have a blog! I will definitely be checking here often for updates. You and your family are so lovely and inspiring :D
