Booger juice
Sitting on the bed just now while Bleu and Ciara add things on the calculator, Jalen is digging around in his nose. After he pulls his finger out:
"What ya got there" I ask.
"Nothing!" says he.
"Want me to go get you a tissue?" (as I'm fairly sure there must be something attached to finger...it was quite a dig).
"No Mom, LOOK." and he holds up the dig finger, "it's just booger juice."
"Oh, I see."....suppressing laughter only slightly.
"And booger juice is lactose intolerant"
Huh? This is the kid that didn't talk until almost three years of age? Where did he hear "lactose intolerant" anyway?
I ask him to repeat, to make sure I heard correctly...still wondering how booger juice becomes lactose intolerant and he said something about us not knowing ANYTHING about booger juice in a somewhat annoyed voice.
I wonder what google would pull up for "booger juice"....?

Gotta love the little guy!! At least he keeps us all entertained. I'm badly missing him! And everyone else :)
I (of course) had to Google it, and there's a cocktail called that. EWWW! LOL!

Something about boogers today - I was looking through old Pioneer Woman photo-naming contests and saw a whole slew of nose-digging pics there, which got my gag reflex all warmed up first thing this morning, and now this! I'm cracking up, wondering what in tarnation is going on. At least you didn't post a pic - I only felt a shudder at your post, not the full-out gag. LOLOL
Now that's quite a message from the universe! eeeew.
I really love the BFG by Roald Dahl, which takes bodily functions to a whole new level. We had planned on making Frobscottle before, but maybe "Booger Juice" could come first.;)
OK, odd connection...but I certainly have one. Last week I posted 'I'm My Daughter's Sparkly Undesigner' and in that post I accidently typed booger...I changed it, but commented and left it. Anyhow, I found THAT an intriguing connection. NOW I can add lactose intolerant and juice to it...hmmmm, wonder what this week holds for me. BG
Thinking about that for a moment I just kind of got grossed out and can't eat my morning yogurt.

As i was reading your blog i had one of my science pod casts playing in the background and they were talking about the health benefits of poking your nose and eating it!
Apparently many doctors acknowledge that it is a great way to boost your immune system.
