Paul Newman died today...
...at the age of 83. He was married for 50 years and acted in over 50 films in addition to directing and producing. We love him best for his movie "Cool Hand Luke" and the wonderful "Newman-O's" cookies.
What an amazing life he's lived. Goodbye Paul...

He always seemed to be a nice person.
All the proceeds from Newman's Own went to charity. Over $250.000.000!! That's amazing.

wow- I can not believe it all went to charity- there are some very cool people in this world
sooo sad. know what i was doing when i opened yahoo and saw that he had died?...i was eating newman o's with very vanilla silk milk. sooo weird. i actually was taking a bite when i read about it and i was frozen thinking how weird that was.
i have always thought it was pretty amazing that 100% of the profits from their products went to charity. and that i can find them at wal-mart when i'm wanting something mostly good and don't feel like trekking to patsy's!!!
