World of Warcraft article

Video gaming is slowly gaining more respect as a valid method of learning! Slowly, but surely I read more and more articles on the positive side.

Here's the latest article, in which unschooler's Jill Parmer and Kelli Traaseth are interviewed. They actually took the time to learn how to play World of Warcraft. Now THAT is an accomplishment! I got a character to level four and gave up.:) All of my children are WoW players, with Trevor being the most dedicated. He lucked out and fell in love with another player (the lovely and talented George), whose parents and one grandparent play. Yes, they're all in the same guild. Wild eh?

Great article over all. Too bad the mainstream only validates it if they learn reading or math or some other "academic" subject through it. I loved seeing your comments Kelli and Jill...way to go!:)
